- Selected Historical Census Data - Contains Decennial Census population, housing units, area measurements, density, population of the 100 largest cities, & foreign born population since 1850.
- Historical Statistics of the United States - Contains Statistical Abstracts from Colonial Times to 1970
- Historical Statistics of the United States - Millennial Edition - Contains more than 37,000 annual time series of quantitative historical information covering virtually every quantifiable dimension of American history: population, work and welfare, economic structure and performance, governance, and international relations, all from the earliest times to the present. Also in print Reference Table 3B - Middle Level - North Online edition available in the Library. Off-campus access available to WSU students, faculty and staff only.
- Statistical Abstract of the United States Since 1878, the Statistical Abstract has been the single most authoritative source of facts about the people, institutions and economy of the country. This is a publication of the Census Bureau and is compiled from government and private sources and is an excellent place to start when looking for statistics. Most recent edition is located at the Reference Desk. Older editions in Government Documents - AE 2.108/2, Middle Level North. Online from 1878.
