The Brother Edmond Drouin Library employs over a dozen student workers as Library Assistants who help us extend the reach of our services. These students play an important role in the Library and we’d like for you to get to know them. Please welcome our next spotlighted student joins us this year as a transfer student from Quincy University.

Where are you from? 

Vratsa, Bulgaria

What are you studying? 

Pre-Physical Therapy 

What activities are you involved in? 

I am on the Volleyball team. I am a right side hitter. 

What is your favorite thing about Walsh? 

Everything! but especially the athletic and academic programs. 

How has your transition been to Walsh from Quincy University?

I have met a lot of wonderful people, and since it is my second year it was easier for me to get used to the American lifestyle. My coaches, teammates and roommates made the transition better. 

How would you describe the library to a friend who has not been to the library?

Homey and Calm, I love studying in the library. 

What is a resource the library offers that other students may not know about? 

The study room and the bones.

Why do you like working in the library? 

I like to be helpful, and I love the quiet space.
