Copyright for Librarians

Using Student Works

If you wish to reproduce and/or distribute a work created by a student, you must first obtain permission to do so from the student who created the work. Having created the work, the student is the copyright holder of the work, and copying and/or displaying the work without permission of the copyright holder is a violation of copyright.

In the event of multiple student authors, you must obtain permission from all of the authors of the work.

Please be aware that obscuring the name of the student author of the work or otherwise making the work anonymous is NOT a sufficient substitution for obtaining permission to duplicate and/or distribute the work.
