Placing Physical Materials on Course Reserve
The Brother Edmond Drouin Library is here to support your teaching by placing physical materials—such as textbooks, DVDs, or personal copies—on reserve for your students.
How to Submit a Request
Please email the following required information to: library@walsh.libanswers.com.

Course Information
- Course name and code (e.g., ENGL 101)
- Instructor name(s)
- Semester (Term) and year (e.g., Fall I, 2025)
- Number of students enrolled (estimate)

Material Details
- Title and author of each item
- Edition (if applicable)
- Call number (if already in the library collection)
- Indicate whether the item is:
- Owned by the library
- A personal copy you will provide

Loan Period
- 2-hour (in-library use only)
Submitting Personal Copies
If you are providing personal materials:
- Bring them to the circulation desk with a note including your name and course information.
- Please note: A library barcode and reserve label will be affixed to each personal item. These items will be returned at the end of the term unless otherwise requested.
Submission Timeline
To ensure materials are available by the first day of class, please submit your request at least two weeks before the start of the term. Requests lacking required information may not be processed.
