  • Available at the Circulation Desk: Reserve textbooks can be checked out in person at the Brother Edmond Drouin Library’s circulation desk.

  • 2-Hour Loan Period: These materials are available for two-hour use and are intended for in-library use only.
  • Library Use Only: Textbooks on reserve must remain in the library and cannot be taken to other campus locations, including the GLC.

While we strive to provide access to as many required textbooks as possible, not all course materials are available. To check if your textbook is on reserve, follow the search instructions in the section below.

Is my textbook on reserve at the library?

To find out if the library has your textbook on reserve, use CavsSEARCH's (Primo) Advanced Search.PRIMO VE Home Screen - Arrow Pointing to Advanced Search CavsSEARCH widget

Select Course Reserves from the Advanced Search's list of options.

Explore eBooks in the Library Collection

You can use CavsSEARCH, the library’s discovery tool, to search across our entire collection of eBooks. CavsSEARCH allows you to find titles by keyword, subject, author, or course. It’s the fastest way to see what’s available in both our local and OhioLINK eBook collections.

If you prefer to browse specific eBook platforms, you can also access them directly from the list of collections below. These include specialized databases like EBSCO eBooks, OhioLINK eBook Center, and O’Reilly Learning Platform, each offering unique content and features.
