Using Search Everything Discovery Service

Provides examples and search tips for using the discovery service tool.

Refining Results

You can refine your search results in several ways:

  1. Limit the results to only full text, items in the Library catalog, or available in the Library collection of resources.
  2. Limit by source type, such as books or academic (scholarly) journals.
  3. If the PDF or HTML link to full text is available, you're all set - click to open the document.
If no full text is listed, use the Full Text Finder button to find the full text in another database.
  4. If Request this item through We Deliverappears, click through to complete an Interlibrary Loan form. Don't forget to add as much information as possible - title, author, volume, issue number, pages, date. The article will arrive several days later in your Walsh email inbox.

Help is often available using the Chat box to the right, or ask a librarian.
