Open Access Publishing Agreements

Walsh University faculty can take advantage of OhioLINK’s transformative open access agreements with major academic publishers. These agreements allow eligible authors to publish open access articles without paying Article Processing Charges (APCs).

Publisher Agreements

Cambridge University Press

  • 400+ hybrid and fully open access journals
  • No annual cap on free OA articles
  • Eligible authors must be affiliated with an OhioLINK institution

Elsevier

  • 1,800+ hybrid journals (excludes Cell Press and Lancet)
  • Annual cap on free OA articles
  • Use institutional email and affiliation during submission

IOP Publishing

  • All hybrid and fully OA journals included
  • No annual cap
  • Unlimited OA publishing for eligible authors

Springer Nature

  • 2,000+ hybrid journals (Nature-branded journals excluded)
  • Annual cap on free OA articles
  • Only hybrid journals are eligible

Wiley

  • 1,800+ hybrid and fully OA journals
  • Annual cap on free OA articles
  • Use institutional email and affiliation during submission
