What can I find at the Walsh University Archives? The Walsh University Archives is comprised of primary source materials about Walsh University and the Brothers of Christian Instruction.  We also have a small collection of rare, special collections items.

Where are the Walsh University Archives located? The Walsh University Archives are located inside the Br. Edmond Drouin Library, Farrell Hall.

Do I need an appointment? Appointments are strongly encouraged. Please contact the library to set up an appointment.

Are there any rules for using the Archives? Yes. See the tab on the left that says "Policies and Guidelines." You will get a printed copy of the rules of use and consent form to sign upon arrival as well.

How do I cite sources from the Walsh Archives? This will depend on what citation style you are using and the type of document you wish to source. Contact your Personal Librarian or the archivist for assistance with this.

Can I get a tour? At this time, we are not able to offer tours of the archives.

How do I care for my personal papers?

How do I care for my personal papers and photographs? Paper preservation requires proper storage and safe handling practices. Your family documents, photographs, and other important papers will last longer if they are stored in a stable environment.
