Music Resources

  • Cleveland Institute of Music - Robinson Music Library
    Music resources including an index of the complete program notes (and subsequently, the performances) of the Cleveland Orchestra. The database is produced from the actual programs, held by the Robinson Music Library.

    The Ohio Arts Organizations database allows users to quickly access information on arts and cultural organizations all across Ohio.

  • Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Library and Archives
    The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has opened its Library and Archives to the public, granting scholars and fans alike access to over 200 archival collections, including the personal papers of performers, radio disc jockeys, photographers, journalists, critics, historians, poster artists, collectors, fans, and fan clubs.

  • American Musicological Society
    The American Musicological Society was founded in 1934 to advance research in the various fields of music as a branch of learning and scholarship. 3,600 individuals and 1,100 institutional subscribers from over forty nations participate in the Society.
  • Association for Recorded Sound Collections
    The Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and study of sound recordings, in all genres of music and speech, in all formats, and from all periods. ARSC is unique in bringing together private individuals and institutional professionals—everyone with a serious interest in recorded sound.
  • National Collegiate Chorus Organization
    The National Collegiate Choral Organization (NCCO) exists to serve the specific needs of university and collegiate choral conductors by providing a national forum for their collegiate choruses to perform, by offering lectures and promoting repertoire suitable to their interests, and by aiding in their professional development and program growth through performance as well as scholarly and research opportunities.
