- Explain how the point supports the thesis
- Give example, source or quote
- Give additional supporting details
- Second point that supports your thesis
- Explain how the point supports the thesis
- Give example, source or quote that supports the point
- Give additional supporting details
- Third point that supports your thesis
- Explain how the point supports the thesis
- Give example, source or quote that supports the point
- Give additional supporting detail
- Add fourth, fifth or sixth points if needed
- Conclusion
- Review the main ideas you presented in body (Points 2-3-4)
- Connect main ideas to thesis. Don't restate thesis verbatim
- Closing thoughts. Remind reader why this is important.
